Afternoon All.
Our friend and colleague Kevin recently received the devastating news that his two children Grace and Tommy have an extremely rare Mitochondrial condition. It is a degenerative disease, there is no cure & it is LIFE LIMITING. Every parent’s worst nightmare.
Kevin’s sister Alison has set up a Go Fund Me page ‘Memories for Grace and Tommy’, to raise funds for Kevin and Liz to help bring some joy to their lives & relieve a little of their stress.
To show our support and raise awareness about the Go Fund Me page: BYCC, Foroige and DDLETB are planning to do a walk on Friday June 11th.
You are invited to join us…. Anytime between 10am-6pm.
Please collect a balloon and a map from the Brookfield Youth and Community Centre (3k & 5K routes).
When finished, please let us know how you got on and we will clock the collective kilometres we walked for Grace and Tommy!
